Intelligent People Counting Solution for Sonee Sports Retail Stores
Project Background
Sonee Sports manages a diverse portfolio of retail brands and outlets across the Maldives, including Sonee Sports Kids, Raalhu Shop, Nike Shop, Adidas Shop, Mango Men & Women, Miniso Stores, and Sonee Fashion. As a leading retail group, understanding customer foot traffic across each store was essential for making informed marketing and business decisions.
The client required a smart, accurate people counting solution to track the number of visitors entering and exiting each store. With reliable foot traffic data, store managers and the marketing team can analyze peak hours, measure the effectiveness of promotions and campaigns, compare performance across branches, and make data-driven decisions on staffing, store layout, and marketing investments — making people counting a critical tool for modern retail management.
